ARE YOU READY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Attention all Huron Junior Chiefs Football and Cheer participants.
Thank you for participating in this program
Football Practice begins on Monday Aug 15 - for the first two weeks, practice will be M-F 6pm-8pm. These two weeks are conditioning and are critical to the program. Flag and JV should meet next to Sunnyside and the baseball fields, Varsity on the practice field near the tennis courts. Make sure participants bring water and wear spikes. Further instruction will be given regarding equipment during the first two weeks. While you will meet many of the coaches at the first practice, teams will be determined during the second week of practice.
Cheer Practice begins the week of Aug 15 - Cheer participants will be meeting by the HS Tennis Courts; during the first two weeks your schedule is as follows:
Aug. 16, 17, 18: 6pm - 8pm.
Aug. 22, 23, 24, 25, 26: 6pm - 730pm
Plan to attend a Cheer parent meeting on Tue Aug 16 at 6pm.
When you signed up you may have indicated a volunteer preference; while we have that info we will come around and have you sign up for a specific day/time. Please look for us as well; days and times fill up quickly and we all have busy schedules so it is best to sign up early.
If you have not turned in your child's physical form, please do so no later than week 2 of practice, you can bring it to the equipment shed; located by the HS football field.
The game schedule is attached - once you find out what you child's team number is you will know what time they will play.
Thank you - we look forward to seeing you on the field!
Sincerely,
Huron Junior Chiefs Football/Cheer

The
league has established and implements a
policy that provides equal playing time
and instructional opportunities for every
participant. The focus of this league
is on player development and the enjoyment
of the game. Good sportsmanship is
a requirement and must be demonstrated at
all times by everyone – players, parents,
spectators, and coaches. Competitive games
are played, as appropriate to each age level.
The
Huron Jr. Football is a non-profit
organization composed of volunteers dedicated
to this mission. Whether or not you
choose to be a volunteer, we ask for your
support of our mission. The Board's
goal is to provide a positive environment
for the kids to learn and compete.
Every attempt is made to have competitive
teams and close games. Financial hardship
will not prevent any child from playing.
Please know that you can freely discuss
this, or any matter privately and in confidence
with any Board Member.
